Movie based on a short story by Stephen King, starring John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson. Two reviews, both positive, both by people who hadn't read the story. I have read the story, though, and it's not bad...probably my second favorite in the collection, and only because Dinky is eventual. Based on the trailer alone, a lot of liberties were taken. Cusack's definitely inspired casting for the skeptical writer, but Jackson as Mr. Olin takes that character in a somewhat different direction.
All in all, looks interesting and possibly a departure from the Movies Based On Stephen King Source Material Often Suck Curse.
